As System Analyst in Scania’s CAD/PLM team, you will be an essential part of a cross-functional team that develops and adapts the company's CAD/PLM platform. You will join an international and supportive team with great experience in welcoming new I-Talents. To thrive in this role, a genuine technical interest and the ability to shift between a detailed and holistic perspectives are valued. Here, you will work closely with technology, platforms, and business, tackling various technical challenges based on business needs. As a System Analyst, your work contributes to creating a stable CAD platform used across Scania’s/Traton’s R&D. You need to gain an in-depth understanding of how Scania’s CAD/PLM platform functions and see how business requirements can be implemented within the platform. As System Analyst, you will act as the link between developers and business analysts. Depending on your background, the role may also involve development work or a focus on platform usage. Primarily, you will work with Dassault’s CAD/PLM platform 3Dexperience, as well as its integration with Scania’s PDM platform OAS. Programming languages used include JAVA, C++, and SQL; we work on both backend and frontend development and integration tasks.

Junior SCRUM Master CAD/PLM Team

Scania, who is a part of the TRATON Group, is currently undergoing a transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT-solutions are a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT-solutions supporting current and future business requirements. As a Junior Scrum Master, you will be joining a fantastic team to build the applications to enable collaboration within the TRATON Group. The job responsibilities will include, for example, being responsible for the team’s deliveries, ensuring the backlog is followed, and representing the team at department meetings. You don’t need to know everything from the start; the most important factors are your ability and willingness to lead, organize, and drive the team’s work forward. You are fearless, have the ability to switch between different tasks, and enjoy taking the lead in various contexts. A suitable background for this could be an education in IT with a focus on agile methodologies and project management. The tech stack includes, among other things, AWS, Lambdas, Angular 10 & 11, Python, Java, Jira, and GitLab, and it’s beneficial if you have experience with some of these technologies, but again, the most important is your ambition to learn!

Automation/SCADA Developer

As an Automation Engineer/SCADA Developer, you will be part of a group consisting of around 28 employees, both consultants and employees as well as some former I-talents! The group fulfills an important purpose in supporting the production systems in above all Södertälje, but also in other parts of the world where Scania has their production. The systems ensure, for example, that the operators know how to carry out the assembly and meet time schedules as planned. You will work in a broad role with both PLC programming, testing, configuration and participate in planning meetings for the projects. You will collaborate with for example both production staff, other automation engineers and architects. A suitable background for this role is, for example, an education in robotics and/or automation and preferably with knowledge in Git and SQL. You will be part of a team with a good collaboration where you share knowledge with each other and we are looking for you who take a lot of responsibility, wants to develop yourself and is curious to learn more about this field!

Data Engineer / Data Scientist - Advanced Analytics Team

As a Data Engineer or Data Scientist in this team, you will be a central part of a cross-functional data science team of 14 people building AI solutions for various parts of Scania. You’ll be welcomed into an international and close-knit team where we value collaboration and curiosity. This role offers you the opportunity to work closely with the business, shaped by ongoing projects and business needs. To thrive with us, we hope you have a strong technical interest and a desire to understand the challenges and opportunities of the business. You will help make Scania data-driven by building models and data pipelines for AI solutions that provide direct business value. You will also have the chance to deepen your skills with tools and technologies such as AWS, Spark, SQL, and Databricks. For this team, we are looking for someone with a relevant master’s level education. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the business, directly impacting Scania’s results through innovative and value-creating AI applications.

Developer - Product Development IT

As part of Product Development IT, you will be positioned between business and IT, working with products used by Scania's internal R&D, which partly consist of third-party solutions. The applications support everything R&D does in Embedded Software development and can include tools for managing development projects, requirement management tools, and procurement tools. All of these are related to various regulations, making these products very important from a safety perspective for Scania. For example, the risk analysis tool is used to analyze truck signals, how it is controlled, and what physical risks might arise to prevent accidents. You will also have a lot of contact with users to understand their needs and desires, and the products are primarily developed in Java, JavaScript, Python, and Velocity. You’ll be part of a social, multicultural team with approximately 10 other colleagues and your immediate manager, some of whom are former I-talents! You will work closely with others on the team, and they often arrange activities such as after-work gatherings, picnics, badminton, and other social activities outside of work. Beyond that, this is a team where everyone supports each other, takes collective responsibility, and shares knowledge. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in developing their programming skills, and if you also have knowledge (or a desire to learn) in DevOps, AWS, Gitlab, or CI/CD, that’s a plus but not a requirement. The most important thing is your willingness and commitment to grow!

Network Engineer

As an infrastructure engineer, you will be part of the department that supports Scania’s industrial network across various production units, providing both services and expertise throughout the entire organization. The department includes around 40 employees, with our IUBC group currently consisting of 15 people. Your responsibilities will cover networking, LAN, WLAN, and network security. You will work closely with the business, offering technical expertise, configuring systems, troubleshooting issues, and developing technical solutions. Additionally, you will help maintain corporate standards and policies within this area. In this role, you’ll work with a broad range of technologies within complex IT environments, which is part of what makes the position so exciting. Scania is a large company with numerous users, and we believe this role is ideal for someone eager to gain a comprehensive understanding of how everything fits together from a technical standpoint. We expect you to have an educational background in IT/technology with a focus on networking and security, but the most important qualities are a willingness to learn, an open mind, and a strong sense of responsibility for your own growth!

Network Engineer Cisco (team 2)

As a network engineer within Cisco, you will be part of the department that supports Scania's office and industrial networks for their various production units, primarily in Södertälje but also in China, where they are currently building a new factory. The entire department consists of around 40 employees divided into three teams, which you will belong to one of them consisting of 14 people, including your closest manager. Examples of projects your team is currently involved in include building, maintaining, and monitoring Scania’s entire IT network, working with architecture, and ensuring that both Scania and TRATON employees have a network that functions well both technically and in terms of security. Here, you will be part of an engaged team with good collaboration, a wide age range, and a supportive culture where it’s okay to make mistakes—that’s how you learn! You’ll work closely with your team and the other two network groups, as well as with R&D, cloud teams, the security team, and those working with autonomous vehicles, providing them with support on various network-related tasks. A suitable background for this position is an education focused on networks and knowledge in Cisco. You don't need to know everything from the start; the most important thing is your attitude toward self-development and your desire to learn.

Back-end developer to the TRATON Collaboration Team

We are seeking a back-end developer to join Scanias'sglobal, agile team. The role focuses on data conversion and developing solutions for classic data transmission across the TRATON group. The division comprises 40–50 developers, structured into smaller SCRUM-teams. As part of a SCRUM team with 5–6 members, you will play a key role in driving and improving processes. The focus is on traditional development, so we are looking for someone passionate about transformation and innovation—though not in the context of AI, machine learning or app development. Strong Java skills are essential, and experience in other languages, such as Python, is a plus. This position suits individuals who thrive on problem-solving and enjoy working with traditional development in an international environment. English is required, good knowledge of Swedish and German is an advantage.

Developer IRBT Testing (Product Development IT) As a part of the IRBT Testing, within IT Product Development, you will be working on providing the systems that enable Scania's prototype testing. As part of this team, you will be involved in developing complex applications used in Research & Development and other areas of the business for prototype testing of trucks. You will collaborate closely with R&D, leveraging your IT expertise to specify system requirements, develop solutions, and optimize existing functionality. The team works full-stack, and you will primarily engage with Java, TypeScript, and AWS. As part of Scania's larger transformation, you will be working with cutting-edge technologies and have the opportunity to innovate, manage, and work on cloud-based solutions (AWS) in a global environment. To succeed in the team, it is essential that you have a lifecycle perspective on development and a holistic approach to problem-solving.

We are looking for

In this recruitment, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your interest in both the position and Scania as a company. We are looking for committed and talented problem solvers who are happy to come up with new ideas about how things can be improved.
