About the role
Our client is a world-leading supplier of railway systems, committed to creating a long-term sustainable transportation system. At our client, you will work together with highly skilled teams to design and develop key signaling platform solutions for the global market. Your daily work includes analyzing input needs, designing solutions, and maintaining system specifications. You will also support process descriptions and their associated verification, validation, and assessments.

Work tasks
- Analyze the input needs (external or internal) and requirements together with other team members
- Design the solution by re-using existing solutions or by developing a new solution or adapting an existing one
- Formalize and maintain the system specifications (operational, functional, and constructional), application rules
- Support process descriptions and their associated verification, validation, and assessments
We are looking for
- A candidate with a degree or passion in engineering
- (Model Based) System Engineering knowledge
- Ability to work transversally with engineering teams
- Familiarity with requirement management & writing
- Knowledge about design for safety, cybersecurity, and RAM compliance
- Knowledge about Concept Generation
- Familiarity with System Architecting & System Interfaces
- Familiarity with SIL-4 HW and SW designs, from the concept and design phases to the verification and safety assessment
- Fluency in English used at a technical level
It is meritorious if you have
- Proficiency in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
- Experience from a regulatory industry
