About the role
You will be engaged to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and application deployment processes using modern DevOps tools and best practices. The role focuses on automating and optimizing software deployment pipelines, enhancing security, and improving system reliability. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure a seamless and efficient software delivery lifecycle.
Work tasks
- Build, manage, and optimize Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
- Configure and maintain Cilium for networking and security policies within Kubernetes.
- Implement and manage service discovery and networking with Consul.
- Design, implement, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Optimize deployment workflows to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Work on traffic routing and load balancing using Traefik and NGINX
- Implement best security practices for containerized environments.
- Configure Cilium for network security policies.
- Manage API gateways and reverse proxies using Traefik and NGINX.
- Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible for provisioning and configuration management.
- Ensure system scalability, performance, and security through automation.
- Troubleshoot system and application issues in cloud and containerized environments.
- Ensure high availability and performance tuning across deployments.
We are looking for
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Expertise in Docker and containerized application deployment.
- Experience in creating and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management.
- Knowledge of Cilium for Kubernetes networking and security.
- Experience with Consul for service discovery and networking.
- Understanding of Traefik and NGINX for reverse proxy and load balancing.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in cloud and containerized environments.
It is meritorious if you have
- Familiarity with JavaScript for application debugging or minor development tasks.
