About the role
We are seeking a Java Backend Developer for our client in the automotive industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing software applications in accordance with our established development standards. Additionally, you will manage the deployment, operation, and maintenance of our applications, while driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will also play a key role in contributing to the solution design of our services and providing support to the developer community within the organization.

Please note that company policy requires you to be present at the office in Gothenburg two days a week.
Work tasks
As a SW developer in the Framework Services team, you will be working with the Java-based microservices used in the clients AWS-based connectivity platform. The assignment is to:
- Develop software applications according to our clients development standards
- Deploy, operate and maintain applications including. driving continuous improvement
- Actively contribute to the solution design of services
- Support the developer community
We are looking for
A candidate with at least 3 years related work experience with competency in the following:
- Java backend
- AWS (Serverless, nodeJ)
- Skilled in Spring – extra focus Spring Boot
- JMS – messaging
- Cloud services
- Fluent in English as it is the company's working language
It is meritorious if you have
- Understanding of Micro services architecture and Design
- Experience of Automotive industry and connectivity Since the assignment is aimed to start during September/October, it is important you can be flexible with the start date.
